Aly + Christian // Bluefin Bay Resort

I adore how intimate and close knit Aly and Christin kept their wedding. They brought their family and close friends to come visit Bluefin Bay Resort in Tofte for their wedding day. When we first started talking about the wedding plan, they kept it fairly open. My favorite suggestion lately has been to get ready together. They loved this idea and went with it, helping each other with the final details before the ceremony.

The Cove is one of my favorite North Shore ceremony spaces. It is private, quiet, and just the right size for the micro weddings and elopements. As the ceremony came to the end when they exchanged rings, they did a ring washing ceremony in Lake Superior. I definitely will be keeping this in mind for the future suggestions!

After a delicious dinner with everyone we snuck off to another location, where he proposed! We ended our stunning portraits on the empty beach with just a single sailboat in the distance. As the sun went down, the oranges in the rocks truly came out and fit their colors perfectly. I am excited to see what they have next in store for their lives!
