Big Bay State Park, Madeline Island Elopement

Lorna and Kevin got married at one of the most romantic Airbnb’s on Madeline Island! When Lorna was growing up, her family always had a sail boat and would spend summers at their cabin, sailing Lake Superior. For the wedding, her parents sailed to the venue on their boat! The entire day was filled with love, laughter and family.

It was a crisp morning as I drove from Duluth (& got to take my car over on the ferry!), to Madeline Island. The entire drive was all the gorgeous fiery trees and I am glad we were surrounded by them at the ceremony! The cabin loft had all the cabin vibes as Lorna got ready with her mom and sister. They had their first look down on the dock and it was such a sweet moment for them. After the ceremony we headed over to Big Bay State Park for their bridal photos as the sun was setting!
